Inspired by the famous Unicorn Tapestries, this necklace is a dedication to my sweet 16-year old golden haired cat Alice. She's been dealing huge health problems since the year has started, I created this necklace originally to collect funds for her upcoming hyperthyroidism treatment, but because of her current weight and kidney problems, she can't get the treatment yet. So, it's not an urgency now, but if you like and buy this pendant, all the proceeds will go to either curing, or spoiling her and her brother (:
First days of January, she stopped eating for days, she had anemia, elevated kidney and liver levels and all kind of other scary test results. She spent 3 days at hospital, first 2 days they said she may not make it through the night. 2 blood transfusions later, they sent her back home to us. After couple of months of streoid treatment and lots of vet visits, she was finally got back on track and gained some of her weight back. She was doing ok then she started to cry at nights, vomiting and the energy of a kitten, we suspected something’s wrong and blood tests showed us she has hyperthyroidism now. It can completely heal with an expensive treatment if her kidney levels come back to normal.
